Job Title: Research Associate Seeking a candidate that has at least 1 year of experience with mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and Western Blot. Job Description We are seeking a Research Associate scientist to support our antibody product development efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and antibody-based assays, including Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry. Experience in molecular biology and protein expression/purification would be an asset but is not required. Responsibilities + Support antibody product development efforts + Perform mammalian cell culture and maintenance + Conduct antibody-based assays such as Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry + Perform basic data analysis and maintain accurate records of work performed + Assist with protein purification using gravity flow and FPLC-based methods + Contribute to protein conjugation processes Essential Skills + BS in life sciences + At least one year of hands-on experience at the bench in academia or industry + Fully independent in all aspects of mammalian cell culture, including maintenance, expansion, preservation, and general handling + Experience with immunoassays (Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry) + Basic data analysis skills and ability to keep accurate records Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with protein purification (gravity flow and FPLC-based methods) + Experience with protein conjugation + Experience working in a GMP environment (preferred but not required) Work Environment The research associate will conduct bench work in the lab as part of a team of five. The role is located at a new site with a new scientific director. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
