THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Automotive Porter & Driver to join our busy team. This entry-level position is a great way to get your foot in the door of the automotive industry and learn how a successful dealership operates. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vehicle Logistics: Transporting vehicles safely and efficiently between the service lane, parking lots, and storage facilities.
• Dealership Maintenance: Keeping the shop and service lane neat, orderly, and organized according to dealership standards. Performing light cleaning duties for vehicles (interior and exterior) and general parking lot areas.
• Customer Service: Greeting customers in a professional manner and occasionally providing shuttle services or assisting with customer vehicle needs.
• Picking up and dropping off a customer vehicle
• Service Support: Assisting service technicians with various tasks, such as installing seat protection, replenishing vehicle fluids, or running cars through the car wash.
• General Errand Runner: Performing other duties and running errands for management as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is required for insurance purposes.
• Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to maintain a consistent, flexible schedule, which may include some evenings and Saturdays.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, time-management, and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Attitude: A positive attitude, a "can-do" mentality, and a professional demeanor.
• Bonus (Optional): Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
