· Pharmacy Assistant: ($18.49 – $27.76)
· Pharmacy Technician: ($18.89 – $28.39)
· Certified Pharmacy Technician: ($19.76 – $29.64)
Responsibilities:
Repackage, prepare, and label medications, IV solutions, and non-sterile compounds; perform calculations and complete documentation.
Deliver, transfer, and remove medications across patient care units; ensure pharmacist review before dispensing.
Handle controlled substances per protocol.
Respond to phone calls, assist customers, and manage pneumatic tube station.
Fill and deliver interdepartmental orders; inspect and remove expired or recalled medications.
Operate pharmacy equipment (e.g., dispensing cabinets, computers, fax machines).
Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workspaces.
Complete documentation for medication credits, charges, and logs.
Travel between facilities as needed.
Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other hospital staff.
