Under the direct supervision of the Correctional Administrator, ADA/ Armstrong Coordinator, the Office Technician (OT) must have a high degree of sensitivity and be cognizant of the consequence of errors related to both oral and written communication, must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively multi-task. This individual will assume clerical responsibilities with regards to the development and implementation of the education department, custodial personnel scheduling, incarcerated persons appeals, institutional security operations, and other Program activities.

Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
