Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with a high level of proficiency in Phlebotomy to join our in-office team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, handling multiple draws per day.
  • Medical Assistant with EKG experience, proficient with medical terminology and office skills to handle responsibilities outside of clinical.
  • This candidate has a strong customer service background and excellent interpersonal communication.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in medical assistance, phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields. Familiarity with medical terminology, computer software, Outlook, and the Windows suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and professional etiquette.
  • Collect vitals, blood, urine, and DNA samples.
  • Distribute samples to designated departments.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
  • Answer in bound calls & schedule appointments.
  • Manage payroll process.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new examiners.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years practical MA or Phlebotomy Experience.
  • Experience taking VITALS (Height, Weight, & Blood Pressure Readings).
  • Computer-literate and Proficient in working with Multiple Databases.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, team environment.
