• Guide clients through the full mortgage loan process, from initial inquiry to closing.
• Analyze financial and credit data to determine borrower eligibility and best-fit loan products.
• Educate borrowers on available loan programs, interest rates, terms, and application procedures.
• Collect, verify, and process required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a pipeline of loan applications and ensure compliance with lending policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other departments to ensure smooth and timely closings.
• Deliver exceptional service and consistent communication to build long-term client relationships.
• Stay current on market trends, lending guidelines, and regulatory changes.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and community outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
• Active and valid NMLS license is required.
• Proven experience as a Loan Officer, Mortgage Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan products (conventional, FHA, VA, etc.) and the residential loan process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients at once.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM platforms, loan origination software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx), and digital tools.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
