Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)  has an exciting opportunity for a KC-46 First Line Manufacturing Support Manger (K Level ) to support the KC-46A Program within the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
  • Provides oversight over the 5S Program and BDS Coordinators

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT, CMES, & REDARS
  • 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools
  • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Prior LSCC experience
  • Understanding of One BPS process and principles

This role will be on 1st shift

Additional Information:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $112,200 - $151,800 USD
