What will you be doing?
The Instructional Designer plays a crucial role in creating and developing captivating learning experiences that align with the strategic objectives of the Transformation & Enablement Network (TEN) for Sales Operations. This role focuses on instructional design, content creation, and performance support development for role-based and competency-based training programs. This position works with subject matter experts to understand needs and identify appropriate training method options. The Instructional Designer will support the creation of eLearning, classroom, and blended curriculums in a high-volume training department. The majority of work will be fully developing eLearning for the Sales Operations organization. The ideal candidate is a creative, tech-savvy learning professional who thrives in a fast-paced, change-driven environment and is passionate about empowering others through education.
Responsibilities:
Instructional Design and Development:
Consults with subject matter experts in various areas of the company to identify business and behavioral objectives through appropriate needs analysis and discovery
Manages a high number of projects to ensure work meets the needs of the business and actively works to keep projects moving forward at all times
Supports self-enabled business teams in training delivery where needed
Creates learning and performance support materials using agile methodology including needs discovery, iteration, delivery, and measurement of training
Incorporates ROI concepts into the analysis, design and development of learning and performance support needs
Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor
Works with system developers to understand how a user should use a new system (or changes to an existing system)
Creates learning and performance support resources using tools such as PowerPoint, Amplify, and other multimedia creation applications
Designs performance support and learning materials, such as facilitator guides, job aids, information resources, video, presentations and eLearning based on end-learner needs
Presents projects, plans, and strategy to members of leadership
Actively works to support the creation of processes and procedures in areas where they are absent, where training is requested
Partners with Training & OCM Specialist, and Advisory committee to assist with project development and to support weekly programs such as Orientation, Onboarding, and Leadership Classes
Learning Management System (Amplify):
Performs administrative duties, including, but not limited to: scheduling and tracking of instructor-led training, assigning training, reporting, and testing new content
Responds to incidents, requests, and other basic troubleshooting
Consults with business areas to design LMS solutions to meet business needs
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in a related field.
1-2 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing eLearning required.
Strong graphic design and multimedia experience.
Project management experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field. A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Strong written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated ability to produce clearly written learning materials and articulate key concepts in a clear, succinct manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Ability to foster and maintain strong professional relationships
Embraces change, has passion and strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, can foster teamwork, and displays honesty and integrity in all situations
Public speaking skills
Ability to facilitate meetings, classes, and programs when needed

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $60,800 to $76,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
