Job Description:
At Elara Caring , we bring hospice care to where patients feel most comfortable — their own homes. We’re looking for a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about providing personal care, comfort, and support to patients and families during life’s most meaningful moments.

Provide hands-on care to hospice patients in their homes
Assist with bathing, grooming, and daily living activities
Offer emotional and physical comfort to patients and families
Report changes in condition to the RN Case Manager
Document all care provided accurately and on time
Support patient safety and help reduce hospitalizations
High School Diploma or GED required
Current CNA certification and completion of a state-approved Hospice Aide training program (per 42 CFR §484.36)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA or Hospice Aide (hospice or home health preferred)
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform hands-on patient care
Residence within or near Livingston County preferred
