In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based web applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to create responsive, high-quality user interfaces that deliver a seamless experience. This position offers opportunities to solve complex problems, participate in architectural discussions, and enhance front-end development processes. You will play a key role in shaping UI components, improving performance, and applying best practices for accessibility and maintainability. The role is remote-first, allowing flexibility while engaging with a collaborative and innovative team. Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain new cloud application features primarily using React and related front-end technologies.
  • Optimize and enhance existing UI components to improve user experience and performance.
  • Collaborate with backend teams on API integration and front-end architecture.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and resolving front-end issues.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Contribute to evolving front-end development practices, tools, and processes.
  • Work closely with design and product teams to deliver cohesive solutions that meet user needs.
  • Continuously improve coding standards, accessibility, and overall front-end performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building responsive, production-grade React web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and tooling.
  • Experience implementing designs that meet cross-browser compatibility and mobile standards.
  • Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Understanding of API integration and data handling in front-end applications.
  • Experience collaborating in agile environments using tools like Jira and GitHub.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and professional conduct.
  • Nice to have: experience with backend or serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway), Python, or UX design principles.
