Location: Remote, Preferably EST time zone
Client Industry: Pharmaceutical




This role blends Data Analysis and BI Development. The work spans data discovery, requirements gathering, wire-framing, semantic modeling, KPI definition, and dashboard design/delivery in Power BI.


Key Responsibilities:

Work across stakeholders to gather requirements and define the reporting strategy

Perform data mapping, lineage tracking, and develop semantic models

Define KPIs and identify data sources in collaboration with business teams

Design and implement star schema models for reporting

Knowledgeable of the full BI lifecycle

Build Power BI dashboards and visualizations

Tech Stack:

Power BI, DAX, SQL,

Tools for documentation

Ideal Profile:

Experience across the full BI lifecycle

Mid-career professional with 6-10 years of experience is around the right sort of level, as it is a challenging project

Capable of working with both business and technical teams, and a strong communicator

Familiar with dimensional modeling and governance best practices

Bonuses:

• If someone also has some broader experience with Data Engineering and/or Tableau, that could help them be more deployable in future phases of the project.
• But this shouldn't detract from the primary aspects of the role
