Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will play a critical role in developing accurate and comprehensive estimates for a variety of commercial roofing systems. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial roofing practices, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to strengthen client relationships.
Estimate Preparation: Create detailed, accurate estimates including labor, materials, equipment, site visits, and overhead costs.
System Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge of commercial roofing systems (built-up, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC) and manufacturers.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with national clients while delivering excellent customer service.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all estimates meet industry standards and best practices.
Safety Compliance: Reflect safety regulations and safe-work practices in all project estimates.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and advancements in roofing systems.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning to stay ahead in the industry.
Collaboration: Partner with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating with a proven client-facing track record (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Strong understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design, installation codes, manufacturer warranty requirements, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to produce precise, competitive estimates.
Experience with database estimating software (Estimating Edge "The Edge" preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
Motivated self-starter with a professional demeanor.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey instructions clearly.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
