About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven commercial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with deep experience in B2B SaaS. This leader will drive financial strategy, oversee all fiscal operations, and ensure that our growth objectives are supported by strong financial performance, operational rigor, and scalable processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive and influential partner to the executive team with a proven track record of leading finance in high-growth SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with 5+ years as a senior finance leader (CFO, VP Finance, or similar) in a B2B SaaS company focused on scaling.
• Strong command of building out and maintaining SaaS performance metrics, subscription revenue models, and GAAP financial standards including ASC 606.
• Experience managing relationships with investors, private equity, or venture capital partners.
• Proven success scaling finance operations and building infrastructure in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy to drive profitable growth and operational scalability.
• Leading annual budget preparation and monthly/quarterly variance analysis
• Supporting when needed, the CEO and Sales team with contract negotiations with customers
• Assure full tax, legal, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Lead all aspects of financial operations including FP&A, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, audit, and compliance.
• Optimize SaaS financial metrics and reporting frameworks (ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, LTV/CAC, churn, revenue recognition under ASC 606, etc.).
• Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership on strategic decision-making, long-term planning, and risk management.
• Establish and enhance financial processes, systems, controls, and forecasting models to support rapid expansion.
• Drive pricing and monetization strategy in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Client Services teams.

Essential Skills/Attributes

• Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
• Experience in the tech/software/SaaS industry (ideally GovTech or Public Sector SaaS)
• Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial, team player, proactive, and commercial - not corporate, political, or bureaucratic - and does not need a lot of direction
• Ability to inspire confidence and create trust

Preferred Skills/Attributes

• Experience with financial modelling and Client P&L management
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Business Central
• Solid background in tax, legal, and compliance
• Trained at a Top Tier Accounting firm
